The service offers a tiered content strategy, bundling over 1,000 hours from the CNN Originals library alongside video-on-demand features and exclusive live events. While it provides access to select live international and domestic programming, the platform notably excludes a direct live feed of the primary cable channel—a limitation that previously hampered the network's short-lived standalone streaming efforts. Subscribers will also gain access to paywalled journalism on CNN.com, integrating the network’s digital text offerings with its video archives.
CNN Attempts Streaming Revival with All Access Subscription
CNN is making another play for the streaming market with the October 28 launch of All Access, a $6.99 monthly service. The platform arrives as a successor to the failed CNN Plus experiment, aiming to bridge the gap between legacy cable broadcasts and the network's digital library of original documentaries.

CEO Mark Thompson confirmed the pricing structure, which includes an annual rate of $69.99 and a promotional first-year discount of $41.99 for users who register by January 5, 2026. Current pay TV subscribers are granted entry to the streaming content library at no extra charge, though they remain excluded from the site’s digital articles. Those seeking full text access must maintain separate subscriptions to the existing $3.99 monthly digital tier.
