Nick Franklandjoined Aon as UK CEO of Reinsurance Solutions in May 2017 and is responsible for driving UK growth strategies, building client relationships and strengthening collaboration across Aon to bring the best of the firm to insurance companies. Nick has responsibility of Global ReSpecialty, Specialities, ReSolutions and UK & Ireland broking teams.
Prior to Aon, Nick served as Chief Executive Officer of EMEA Operations at Guy Carpenter & Company, where he was responsible for Guy Carpenter's regional business and offices in the UK, Continental Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to that he was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of UK of Guy Carpenter & Company Inc. and was responsible for Guy Carpenter & Company's casualty book of business and business development within the region. Nick was a Member of the Guy Carpenter & Company LLC Board of Managers and also served as Chairman of Guy Carpenter & Company Ltd and a Director of Marsh Ltd UK.
Nick was educated at Charterhouse and King’s College University of London.
