Ross Duffer

Ross Dufferis an American writer, director, and producer best known as the co-creator of Netflix’s landmark science-fiction series Stranger Things. Working closely with his twin brother Matt Duffer, Ross helped develop the show’s distinctive blend of supernatural mystery, emotional storytelling, and 1980s pop-culture nostalgia, which premiered in 2016 and became a defining hit of the streaming era.

Raised in North Carolina, Duffer began making short films with his brother at a young age, nurturing an early passion for genre storytelling. Prior to Stranger Things, Ross Duffer worked as a writer and executive producer on the thriller series Wayward Pines.
