Beverley Jane McEwan, known professionally asBeverley Callard, is an English actress best known for her long-running role as Liz McDonald in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street. She played the popular character across several major stints between 1989 and 2020, becoming one of the show’s most recognisable stars.
Callard also appeared as Flo Henshaw in the BBC sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps from 2001 to 2003, further expanding her television career beyond soap drama.
In 2026, she joined the second series of I’m a Celebrity... South Africa as one of the show’s All Stars contestants. The series first aired on ITV on Easter Monday, 6 April 2026. However, Callard withdrew from the competition on Day 12 due to medical reasons.
