The update grants users significantly more control over their dashboard, moving away from the static design that accompanied the device's launch earlier this year. Owners can now organize their home screen by room or function, such as grouping climate controls or bedroom devices, and toggle them with a single tap. The new drag-and-drop system enables users to resize specific tiles, ensuring that the most frequently accessed smart home features occupy the most prominent space on the display.

Beyond interface tweaks, the device now integrates Ring’s AI Video Search. This allows for specific inquiries into camera history, paired with Alexa-generated summaries of detected events. Additional refinements include a bottom-bar navigation system for easier group management and direct access to granular device settings through a simplified menu, making the Hub a more versatile command center for complex smart home ecosystems.
