Lehtimäki allegedly utilized a practice known as authority laundering, commissioning specific, limited tests from the VTT Technical Research Centre to manufacture an air of legitimacy. However, these reports notably avoided verifying the company’s boldest claims: a 400Wh/kg energy density and a 100,000-cycle lifespan.
