While the ride lacks the near-levitating isolation of the larger R1S, the vehicle remains impressively composed on both pavement and rugged trails. Inside, the cabin favors a minimalist, California-inspired aesthetic, replacing analog buttons with intuitive haptic "halo dials" on the steering wheel. With a 345-mile range and a starting price that will eventually dip to $46,485 for a single-motor variant by 2027, the R2 is positioned to be the company’s most accessible vehicle.
