After months of development delays, Apple has finally unveiled its overhauled Siri assistant, powered by a new AI engine built in partnership with Google. The company’s Worldwide Developers Conference keynote showcased a suite of intelligence features designed to provide more personalized, context-aware assistance across the entire Apple device ecosystem.
Integration into iOS 27 brings further interface changes, including a new activation method where users swipe down from the Dynamic Island. The camera app also gains a specific Siri Mode capable of identifying objects within the viewfinder in real time. Beyond these AI-centric shifts, the update introduces a new opacity slider for the company’s Liquid Glass design, marking a subtle but functional change to the current interface aesthetic.
